Facetopia is a playful AI face-transformation service operated out of Miami, FL. Using the site or the app means you accept these terms. We've tried to keep the legalese out of the way.
Who can sign up
You must be at least 16 years old. If your local law sets a higher age for consent to online services, follow your local law. We don't knowingly let minors on the service.
Your account
You're responsible for your own login, what's on your feed, and what you upload. Don't share your password, and don't let someone else run your account without your OK. If someone's using it without permission, let us know and we'll help lock it down.
What you upload
Only upload faces you have consent to use. That means your own face, faces of people who explicitly agreed, or public-domain works. Don't upload minors, don't upload public figures in fake or misleading contexts, don't upload anyone in a way meant to harm them. Full rules are on the community page.
You keep ownership of your photos. By uploading, you give us a limited license to run the transforms, store them on your account, and (if you post them) show them on the feed. You can delete everything any time from the app.
We don't train models on your uploads. Period.
Output you get back
AI-generated images can be unpredictable. You use them at your own risk, and we don't claim any rights to them. Don't use our service to generate content that breaks applicable laws or infringes someone else's rights.
The feed and remix
If you post a transform to the public feed, anyone can see it and, depending on your settings, remix it. You can lock remix per-post or for your whole account. You can delete any post at any time.
Paid plans
Pro is $6/month, billed monthly, cancel any time. Refunds are handled case-by-case — hit us through the contact form. Prices can change, but if they do we'll tell you well ahead of time and you can cancel.
What'll get you kicked off
Breaking the community rules, harassment, spamming the feed with automated content, reselling transforms as a service, or trying to break our systems. We suspend or ban accounts when needed, and usually fast.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it up and safe, but we can't promise zero downtime or zero bugs. To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damage.
Changes
When we update these terms, we'll post the change with a new date at the top. If it's a meaningful change, we'll email active accounts. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
